Miss Regal World Farewell

Oops! It’s been five months since my year-long reign as Miss Regal World ended and I haven’t shared my farewell video yet. Maybe I forgot. Maybe I’ve been crazy busy. Maybe I was repressing this bittersweet moment. Or maybe it was all of those things. But better late than never, right?

As you may know, this was my first international pageant win. And to make things even better, I was representing Guyana (my country of heritage) when I won! I was so proud and excited to share my culture with the world during my reign and I’ll continue to share more about Guyana even though my reign is completed. As a Guyanese-Canadian girl, I’m proud of both countries 🇬🇾 🇨🇦 and I’m proud to be an ambassador for the multicultural country of Guyana with it’s rich biodiversity in flora and fauna; the ocean, rivers, and waterfalls; and the rainforest.

Due to COVID-19 we were not able to have an in-person pageant this year so my farewell was pre-recorded. And, five months late, here it is:

Virtual farewell as Miss Regal World 2020/21… and yes, the obvious jump cuts are from when I edited out the tears.
