About Me

Hey there, and welcome to my world! 😊

It was a dark and storm night… okay, maybe not really. I was born on a summer morning in July. But I can promise you that my life has been full of exciting twists and turns (and shakes) that have brought me to where I am today.

As a first-generation Canadian 🇨🇦 with Indo-Caribbean 🇬🇾 roots, I am proud of my heritage and always eager to share it with the world. And speaking of sharing, let me tell you a bit about my passions.

First up, travel. I live for exploring new places, meeting new people, and immersing myself in different cultures and subcultures. As a person who grew up with one foot in one culture and the other in another culture, I’ve got a diverse background that has instilled in me a love for different cultures and a passion for exploration. Sometimes I travel for fun, other times to do advocacy work, and sometimes it’s to teach abroad. It’s a big, beautiful world out there, and I’m determined to see as much of it as possible!

Next up, modelling and pageantry. I continue to work on everything from small modelling projects across the Canadian Prairies to walking catwalks across the globe- New York Fashion Week to Miami Swim Week, and everything in between. My pageant titles range from local (Saskatoon, 2007) to provincial (Saskatchewan, 2008 and 2009) to national (2015 and 2018 representing Canada and 2020 representing Guyana) to international (2020). And now I hold a lifetime Legacy title that I earned for kindness and dedication after my reign ended. I’ve retired from competing and am now focussing on judging and hosting pageants. It’s not about looking pretty – it’s about being confident, driven, and passionate about what you do. And I cherish the experiences and friendships that pageantry has brought me.

And let’s not forget acting! Whether it’s on stage 🎭 or in front of the camera 📽 there’s nothing quite like the rush of bringing a character to life. As an actress, I am always seeking new challenges and opportunities to flex my creative muscles, and I’m not afraid to get my hands (and feet) dirty with combat and stunts.

Most importantly, there’s advocacy. As someone living with epilepsy, I’m passionate about raising awareness, breaking down misconceptions, and helping people better understand seizures and epilepsy. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to speak, share my story, and connect with epilepsy organizations and communities in Canada and internationally.
