Miami Swim Week ™️ is upon us again (May 29 to June 2, 2024)! This world-class event is the Olympics of the swim wear industry, and it happens annually. Miami Swim Week is a fusion of style, culture, and personalities, and this cocktail of diversity must be kicked off with a show that sets the tone for the rest of the festival!
The Kick-off Party on May 27
The Kick-off Party was a party and fashion show hosted at Fabel Miami, one of Miami’s hottest locales, a multisensory venue where memories are made. This event was dripping in style and modern glamour. Sponsored by Smart Water and Voga Italia, two designers took centre stage: Jessica Bara and Cioccolato.
Jessica Bara
Jessica Bara’s collection featured pieces that are meant to make the wearer the centre of attention. Sensuality and personality draw the eye to the wearer. The crystals and sequins in these designs exude charming confidence. A woman wearing these designs must be self-confident. Well, it’s a chicken or egg question: Does she wear these pieces because she is confident, or does wearing these pieces make her feel so confident that it is reflected in her poise and the way she carries herself? The fringe pieces are especially flattering, as the flow of the layers is a visual representation of femininity. The cutouts and metal hardware on other pieces show strength that only a queen can possess. The leopard print cross-over halter shows the fierce nature of a determined woman who won’t let anyone or anything stand between her and her goals. The gold tones show that this designer stands for nothing less than 24K pure perfection in her professional work.
The gorgeous outfits did not outshine the women wearing them. Rather, the outfits complimented the women. As with all fashion that is properly made, the wardrobe highlighted the woman wearing the piece. Any woman wearing a piece from this Jessica Bara collection will be the showstopper in every room she enters. She will be the showstopper because this collection is meant to be the bold accessory that highlights the best of the person, the human being, and the heart and brain that makes a woman a woman.
